KCWA TRUST – A Vibrant Kerala Association in Croydon

CWA Trust (Kerala Cultural and Welfare Association Trust) was founded in January 2010 in Croydon, London, with the vision of uniting and uplifting the growing Malayalee (Kerala) community in the region. As the local Keralite population steadily expanded, there arose a pressing need for an organisation that could represent their interests, preserve their rich culture, and provide essential community support. KCWA Trust was established as an umbrella organisation, bringing together individuals, families, and various Kerala-based groups to build a stronger, more connected community. Our mission centres on education, health, cultural development, and the overall wellbeing of the Kerala diaspora in Croydon and surrounding areas.

A Registered Charity

KCWA Trust is now a registered charity with recognition and support from Croydon Council and funding organisations like the Big Lottery Fund. This status enables us to serve the community more effectively, delivering a wide range of impactful services and events throughout the year. the overall wellbeing of the Kerala diaspora in Croydon and surrounding areas.

KCWA Trust proudly hosts some of the most vibrant Onam celebrations in Croydon, featuring traditional music, dance, and the much-anticipated

Onam Sadhya—a grand Kerala vegetarian feast that brings families together to share in the joy and spirit of the festival.

Dance Classes
From classical Bharatanatyam to modern fusion styles, our dance classes help children and adults stay connected to their cultural roots while expressing creativity.

Karate & Self-Defence
Our Karate programmes promote discipline, physical fitness, and self-defence skills among children and youth, ensuring their personal safety and confidence.

Yoga and well being

Regular yoga sessions help community members manage stress, enhance flexibility, and maintain a healthy lifestyle, both physically and mentally.

Sports Day & Community Events

We host an annual Sports Day, bringing families together for friendly competitions and fun-filled outdoor activities. These events foster unity, healthy living, and community pride.
