First Class: FREE for new students
Our weekly Croydon Karate Class is structured to help students progressively develop their karate skills while improving physical fitness, balance, coordination and mental focus.
Students are encouraged to progress through recognised karate techniques and grading levels, giving them clear goals and a sense of achievement as their skills improve.

Trust Karate is fortunate to be supported by a dedicated and experienced team of instructors:
Shihan Hardy – 5th Dan
Shihan Hardy leads and supports the development of Trust Karate. He holds the title of *Shihan* following his 5th Dan grading and brings extensive experience, knowledge and commitment to our students.
Sempai Amil Mohanan
A committed member of the Trust Karate teaching team, supporting students in developing their techniques, discipline and confidence.
Sensei Jakob Buhl
Sensei Jakob brings experience and dedication to our students, helping them develop both the technical and personal qualities associated with karate.
Sensei Laura Taglioni
Sensei Laura is an important member of our instructor team, encouraging students to improve their skills, confidence, fitness and understanding of karate.
Together, our instructors create a positive environment where students are encouraged to learn at their own pace while continually challenging themselves to improve.

Students also have opportunities to work towards their karate gradings. Our previous grading sessions have included the core areas of Kihon (fundamental techniques), Kata (traditional forms) and Kumite (controlled sparring).
Seeing students progress from their first lessons through different belt levels is one of the most rewarding parts of the Trust Karate program.
Community Karate Classes in Croydon
Trust Karate is organized by KCWA TRUST, a registered community charity serving families in Croydon and the wider South London area.
Our aim is to make activities such as karate accessible to local families while creating opportunities for children and young people to remain active, learn valuable skills and become part of a supportive community.
As a community organisation, our focus is not simply on running a karate class. We want to create an environment in which children can learn, grow in confidence and develop lifelong skills.
